The DFRobot 5V Electromagnet (25 Kg Holding Force) is a compact DC sucker-type electromagnet designed for applications such as DIY electromagnetic locks, smart storage cabinets, and intelligent doors. It operates at 5V with a power consumption of 2.5W. The magnetic poles can be reversed by swapping the input powers negative and positive poles. The electromagnet consists of a wire coil around an iron core, which becomes magnetized when powered and demagnetizes quickly when power is removed.
